“Excellent Service & Atmosphere”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

We were looking for a non-chain restaurant that served pizza, but we found so much more! This is a quaint little place with the feel of Italy. The speciality pizza & lasagna was good. My husband dropped us and went to park. He couldn't find a spot, so the waiter even got on my phone to suggest a nearby street.

“An pleasant break from the traditional NO food”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

After attending the Po Boy Fest, feasting on oysters at several places, indulging in fried chicken, jumbo, red beans and sazeracs, it was time for a change of pace. We decided on Mona Lisa after several folks told us how good it was. It was pretty busy when we arrived; we were seated and greated promptly. Bread and salads arrived quickly and entrees came out just in time. We ordered stuffed shells and lasagna. They were both great, perfect for a cold, damp night in the Quarter. If you enjoy family style Italian food, you will not be disappointed.

“A surprise”
Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

We were looking for somewhere reasonable to eat after a week of "high end" cuisine in New Orleans. This was excellent. The waitress was very attentive and engaged in friendly discussions about each dish. Even though it was Saturday night the big football game, we hit lucky and were able to "walk up" and get a table straightaway (shortly afterwards there was a queue) the pasta was superb (although there were a few too many clams for me) and overall atmosphere relaxed.

“Casual Evening”
Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

Met friends in the French Quarter for a casual dinner. Very good pizza and service. The weekends and/or game weekends expect a long line for waiting to be seated.

“Good Food”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

The Italian food was very good. Our family had the eggplant parmesan, Mardi Gras pasta, and pizza. All the food was delicious. The service was not particularly friendly. Our server was not rude, but not too friendly. The maître d' that greeted us was rude. When we walked in, he just looked at us. Then he told us that we would have to wait outside, even though it was very cold. I understand that the restaurant is very small, but he was so rude. When he called to let us know that our table was ready, which had been available the entire time we were outside, he just asked - Do you still want a table? Good food, but not the best experience.
