The food was very good and the atmosphere was wonderful. We ate outside in the courtyard. There was another couple and a table of 6 being served so I don't know why we had to wait so long for our order to be taken. The service was very slow and there was no excuse for it. That being said if I was to return to New Orleans I would give it another try. However, it was a very nice start to a night on Frenchmen St., which from the restaurant you can walk to.

Have to agree with all the other reviews, ate there last night, a group of six, and everyone enjoyed the food. Crawfish cakes and fried shrimp were excellent, hubby had the eggplant dish which He loved. Finished off with lemon cheesecake that was incredible. Sit in the courtyard if you can, nice ambience.

Great find out of the quarter. Friendly service, very reasonable prices, excellent food. Salmon pâté and the shrimp étouffée pate (yes, thats correct!) are musts. Veal dish, shrimp dish, awesome as was the pork medallions in mustard sauce. Great macadamia cheesecake too! Almost forgot the dirty rice with eggplant, another yum

We first visited Feelings during one of the many French Quarter Fests that we had participated in. They were fully booked, but since there were 6 or 8 of us, they put us in there upstairs party room, near the Marilyn Monroe room. The service was great, each dish we had was better than the last--we had lots of tid bits before the main entree.
We have been back many times since, the little bar courtyard fun on Saturday night with a little jazz band & excellent drinks.
Sunday brunch worth the trip, in fact we are booked there for brunch before seeing "Million Dollar Quartet", on the 21st.
Take a taxi there or drive at night, do not try to walk from French Quarter, it is 2600 Chartres St., but this is on the other side of Esplanade from the Quarter.
You are going to love "Feelings.
