Classy atmosphere, great service, interesting menu with excellent preparation of our food! No problem splitting plates.
And yes—the lobster dumplings are superb!

My friends and I came to the BIG EASY for New Year's Eve and the Sugar Bowl (ROLL TIDE!). Of course New Orleans is synonymous with great food, a unique culture, and big fun but the food at GW Fins surpassed our expectations. A friend recommended that we consider dining here. While we expected great food based on the referral, we were not expecting EVERY selection to be divine. Each one of us ordered different menu items and EVERYONE was in awe! Moreover, the experience was elevated to a PERFECT 10 by the service of Nick at Nite. Quite a guy!!! Nick was well versed on the menu items and wine selections offered yet his attention to detail, ease in an extremely packed house, and sincere interactions with our party left us all talking about the experience even after we departed. GREAT FOOD, REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE WITH NICK, AND AN ALABAMA WIN. MY FRIENDS, WE STRUCK GOLD! We are in New Orleans often and will definitely return.

We loved everything we ordered at the Fins, for the appetizer we had tuna tacos and Tempura Fin Wings both were amazing. Tempura Fin Wings was so flavourful- very foodie.

For main dish I had yellow fin tune - the flavour was divine, the fish melted in your mouth. My wife did not feel like fish and a a great pasta. The desert - pudding was also amazing not too sweet and very flavourful. All in all 5 great dishes out of 5, most foodie dinner we had and this is despite being Jan 1 and very busy.

We weren't sure what to expect, however the food was so delicious.
Our waiter was so wonderful, even when he explained certain items were no longer available on the menu. He recommended the most amazing bottle of red from Argentina. Marlbec. Amazing.
The lobster dumplings were off the charts as were the King Prawns. I could have eaten the whole bowl.
I had the Scalibut dish for main which is a signature dish of theirs. It was like a deconstructed risotto. it was very nice! Very happy with this restaurant.

Booked this restaurant as soon as we knew we were heading to NOLA, easily the best meal we've had ever. We were a bit unsure for appetiser's and the waiter suggested the lobster dumplings, I'm not a huge fan of dumplings but I am now. The most delicious thing we have ever eaten, the Scalibut for mains was so good, I have asked our local seafood restaurant here to add scallops to the their Halibut!
Book it, eat here and you won't be disappointed. Such a lovely restaurant for a special occasion. One of our 'd'you remember when...' restaurants. We can't wait to come back!
