Top to bottom this place was fantastic. Our server was wonderful and no matter who delivered the food, if we had questions, they all had answers. I would suggest trying the oyster app. It basically cooks at your table and tastes divine. I cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely return. It also was very pleasant to finally have a meal where the food AND the service were great. Our two or three previous meals were all lacking in the service department. Great meal!

As usual, Russel at the Royal Sonesta had a perfect recommendation. The lobster dumplings wee a perfect start. The chef has created the perfect seafood fish called scallibut. He fuses scallops to the halibut with come sort of voodoo recipe. The lump crabcake was the best we had on this trip. The molten cake is made upon other and you will love it.

We were referred by a few coworkers of his as this being the best seafood resturant in New Orleans. We have eaten at many places and have to rank this one on the top of the list. It is off of Bourbin Street but many routes to keep from having to go near that street. The resturarant was beautiful and Service outstanding. Do make reservations. We trusted our waiter when it came to the chefs fresh catch and we were blown away at the different flavors the seafood had. We will definately be back soon. Thanks to the entire friends staff at GW Fins, very classey!!!!!!

Probably the best seafood the wife and I have had in the past couple of years, and we eat seafood out about every other week. I started with the lump crab cakes and then had the drum fish which was topped with lump crab and asparagus. Both were cooked to perfection and the sauces were superb. The wife started with the beet salad and had the snapper for the entrée. Again, the sauce and dressing was superb. The meals were served with fresh baked biscuits. We ended the meal with one of their specialties, apple pie baked for two with ice cream. The chef was great.

The service was impeccable!

Remember, you pay a little extra for good fresh food and excellent service. Worth every penny of the final tab!
