“Fancy cocktails!”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

We dropped in here after going to the WW2 museum for a quick pick-me-up cocktail. We were amused by the fancy "cobblers," but enjoyed them. We took several pictures of them. I wouldn't stay here for hours having multiple cocktails, but the atmosphere and the service were pleasant and the location near the museums was good.

“Delicious & unique drinks, great atmosphere”
Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

Too many bars in NOLA are all about strong, flavorless "cocktails". Bellocq is different. Their focus is 18th century inspired cocktails made with house-made mixes and liquors and fresh fruit. The results are both delicious and completely unique. Throw in helpful, friendly staff and an atmosphere that is chic while still comfortable and inviting (think candles and velvet) and you get a really fantastic bar.
