“Clean, quiet and comfortable”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

My husband and I had to make a quick trip to New Orleans to attend a funeral. We usually stay in the Quarter, but this time needed to stay within walking distance of the church where the funeral was to be held. The Hotel Indigo was the closest hotel. The property is on the trendy side. We booked an executive king that was large and had a nice sitting area. The shower was huge. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Between the comfort and quiet we slept well. We opted for the breakfast plan and were glad we did. There are lots of choices and the food was good. The breakfast service was excellent. The streetcar stop is right out front of the hotel and only costs $1.25. If we needed to stay in the Garden District again we would definitely stay at the Hotel Indigo again.

This is a very pretty and modern hotel located right in the Garden District. It is a wonderful place to stay if you have business at Tulane University, Loyola University, or you just want to shop on Magazine Street. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice and modern with big showers. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

I rarely write reviews, but was very impressed with the comfy, yet modern decor. The shower was gorgeous and I slept better in this bed than at home. Staff was friendly. Parking on the street was close so no need to pay for parking. No spa.

Great Boutique Hotel!
Clean, comfy rooms, beds, nice big TVs.
Awesome staff, great and friendly service - beautiful relaxing lobby, bar, restaurant area!
Valets are so quick and personable!
Go over and above to accomodate.
Only minus - restaurant, bar and room service are done at 10p.
Worth your time - in the garden district where an all day trolley pass gets you everywhere for $3/each! ♥♥♥

This hotel is a really nice find. It is recently renovated with modern decor. It's location on St. Charles and Jackson is prime. There is a trolley stop on the corner.
The Garden District is beautiful and this hotel is a short walk to lots of beautiful houses. The witch house from American Horror Story: Coven is about 2 blocks down Jackson.
My wife and I were lucky to get a corner room. It was spacious and quiet. We were glad that we could get away from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room.

Generous sized 2queen bed room with beautiful, artsy decor throughout Hotel. Bathroom was modern with generous and very nice shower. Fabulous location right on St Charles St (close to Jackson), trolley is just outside . (Costs $1.25 cash). Great resturants walking distance, just keep your eyes open. Seems safe enough but there are good and bad streets to walk down. Would definitely come here again, but I know it was off season rates. Hotels will raise during Mardi Gras season so good luck. For us, family of three it was a perfect night away, priced great ($159 ish). Love the decor too.

We spent 4 nights here over the new year period. The hotel has been newly refurbished, was very clean, comfortable beds and amazing pillows! The hotel is conveniently located opposite the streetcar stop so is very easy to get around from here. The area here is safe and you can walk around comfortably. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
