Description: Serving Lunch on Fridays, Dinner nightly and Sunday Jazz Brunch. Restaurant R'evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs' interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as "the swamp floor pantry." Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying. Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.

Well worth the visit. From Mollie the Sommelier to Kaynen our waiter this place impresses. I took a business associate here for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Service was perfect and food/wine were excellent. I recommend the Coq au vin! Bon appetite.

We had a wonderful meal there and would without doubt go back. Everything from the appetizers to desert was tasty. The service was very attentive. My only complains would be the mixed drinks we had. Way too sweet. Next time we will stick to wine.

When I plan a getaway I plan it around food. Everywhere I read I expected to be completely blown away, as did our friends. Out of 4 of us....no one was. It is a beautiful restaurant, but it is very stuffy. I love fine dining but I do not love fine dining when your waiter cannot even crack a smile. The appetizers were the best part of our meals, the food was ok. I would much rather spend the $500.00 for 4 somewhere where we can at least visit with the staff and our food blew us away.

Restaurant R'evolution was one of the best dining experiences I've had. It exceeded all of our expectations. The atmosphere was great, with several small, intimate rooms nicely decorated with a New Orleans feel. The wait staff was exceptional - attentive, cheerful, and professional. The star of the evening, however, was the food. New Orleans with a creative flair. Our taste buds were tantalized from the amuse bouche to dessert. The appetizers got us off to a marvelous start. Espresso crusted venison carpaccio, beer battered crab beignets, and oysters R'evolution style were spectacular. The bone marrow, however, was only OK - the only less that fabulous offering. The death by gumbo soup is a must - whole quail stuffed with andouille, oysters, and rice in a rich gumbo broth. The main courses were equally stunning - crawfish stuffed red snapper, an exquisite rigatoni with Roman style meat sauce, coq au vin, and sheep ricotta gnocchi with lobster, a true masterpiece. Desserts continued the excellence. White chocolate bread pudding creme brulee, Turbodog stout chocolate cake, lemon panna cotta with sweet tea gelee, and crunchy peanut butter ice cream finished off a fabulous night. An exceptional dining experience you should not miss.

We don't often dine in hotel restaurant's, but R'evolution came highly recommended across the board. Nothing about the experience disappointed. We design travel around fine food, service and decor. This was the centerpiece of a well designed Labor Day Weekend and the topic of numerous conversations afterwards. We were even given a room by room tour including the kitchen, wine cellar and hidden private dining rooms. To add an exclamation point to the experience, we are returning to New Orleans for three nights in December. Reservations at R'evolution are already made for two of those nights.
