We visited New Orleans for the first time and was only able to visit for a short time. We heard great things about Free Wheelin bike tours and it did not disappoint! We did the Creole and Crescent tour. It was a great way to see sights and learn history in a short amount of time. Our guide Laura was fun and knowledgeable. The ride was easy and we had a blast!

My buddy and I were in New Orleans for a day and took this bicycle tour as a way to get oriented around the City. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Great folks that run this shop, super comfortable bikes that are easy to ride. Our tour guide grew up there and knows a LOT about New Orleans and talks the entire time, sharing interesting facts and stories. Do it, and do it with these folks. You won't regret it.

Wife and I were down in Nola for a short anniversary trip (made unfortunately shorter by an 8-hour airport delay on our way down), and she found FreeWheelin' as a fun way to see some of the city and hopefully counteract some of the calories we were pulling down on such a food-heavy trip. We chose the Garden District tour with Teddy, a Nola native who brought a personal connection to all of the cool and interesting history he shared with us. The bikes were in great condition and easy to ride (no handbrakes on most of the bikes, but you can easily pick up the pedal brakes during a quick orientation ride in the parking lot). Our hosts stressed their pride in sourcing the bikes from one of the last American bikemakers, which wasn't a deciding factor for us but was a nice extra selling point. We saw a ton in the three hour tour, which was ridiculously cheap and a great value. The exercise wasn't nearly as strenuous as I anticipated, so I brought home more of those delicious calories than I thought I might, but overall I think this makes the tours accessible to a wide variety of participants. Tips were not requested but if you really enjoy your ride, why not toss a few extra dollars to your hard working guide? It felt like a steal for what FreeWheelin' charges. Thanks Teddy and gang!

Oliver was a great guide! He really loves the city and wants to share all the best (and most interesting) things to see and do. Weather was a bit chilly, but we kept up a pace that kept us warm and entertained. Follow the tips they send before your tour and you'll be ready to explore the sights of New Orleans!

By far the most organised and best bike tour in nola. We had 2 x adults and a 14 & 12yr boys who loved it. Our guide Ryan (the owner) treated us like family the whole tour. We learnt soo much and had an amazing time. Easily the best 3 hrs we spent in nola.

Had a great afternoon touring New Orleans and learned never to call her NOLA! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny and very open about New Orleans and what it is like to live here. Loved seeing the neighborhoods and architecture as well as hearing about the challenges and triumphs of the city. Nice way to spend an afternoon.

Greetings Passenger, thank you for the kind review about your time spent with us - we very much appreciate it! And most importantly, thank you for your business! I hope that we delivered everything that you were expecting from us. You are correct, NOLA is a post-Katrina name for our fare city that is known by her true name of New Orleans and nearly never the acronym... the only time we use that is for sending mail!
Thanks again for riding with us!

We were celebrating a 60th birthday! We loved hearing all the history of New Orleans. The Garden District was my favorite. Our little your guide was very knowledgeable about the city.

Our guide, Laura, provided an outstanding tour, infused with humor and tons of interesting facts about the city. I booked the tour with two of my friends (we are in our mid 50's) and all of us agreed that it was the highlight of our trip. A bike tour is the best way to see the sites and learn about beautiful NOLA from experienced guides who ensure your safety and satisfaction.
