Where do I start because of all the amenities this park holds. First the staff is nice, quick with paper work, informative. Next, parking for RV's are awesome, quant brick streets and stalls, freshly mowed grass and hookup is a breeze. Next there is a small pool and hot tub ... so clean. Showers and bathrooms cleaned every time used.
Next, walking distance to the French quarters, even for this 67 year old woman, although the staff advises that if you stay after dark to take a cab home.
Finally, the park is gated and a high wall around the park for 24 hour security. It provides first class service. This is the second time we stayed here in 5 years and it has not changed from the clean and fresh RV park. This one was the best one I've ever stayed in. Little pricey but well worth it

We spent 5 days in this park and have been spoiled for any other parks. Even though you're on the edge of the French Quarter, access is still very easy. There were a number of very large mobile homes in the park when we were there. They have a nice pool and hot tub area as well as a full exercise room with treadmills, stationary bikes and a full complement of dumbells. If you need ice during your stay they have a large ice maker and you can take as much as you want at no charge. There isn't really anything for kids to do so it might not be a great place for a family with small children. It's about 5 blocks to Bourbon street and all of the action and is safe enough for walking during the day. It is about the same distance from the park to Canal street where you can hop on a street car. You can get a 3 day pass for the street cars for $9 at any Walgreens pharmacy which will save you quite a bit of money if you take the street cars multiple times. We took cabs back to the park at night and the rates are very reasonable. We travel with two small dogs and they had plenty of grass to enjoy and the park even provides bags to pick up after your 4 legged friends. We will definitely be staying here again next year.

I stayed four nights during the jazz festival. The check-in was prompt and friendly. They had arranged for a taxi service to transport guests for $10 round trip, which was really convenient. The grounds are not typical of an RV resort, with no shade trees or shrubbery to break up the spaces. However, the resort is clean and well maintained.

If I return to New Orleans in my RV, I'll definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 2 nights after Mardi Gra & was ok, the one girl at check in wasn't very friendly & argumentative, the reason why we went there was because our Explorer book said we would get a discount, they said they've never heard of it, i wasn't very happy about that. Very expensive $96/night for a camp site, interlocking brick driveway's & really clean, but we probably won't go back to NO again, every time we've been there its been cold and pouring rain. It was 1 mile from Harrah's Casino & the cab ride was $10 plus tip, i think a little much. The pool was indoor but very very small. Interstate 10 was really close, so we could hear the sirens & police all night.

I have stayed at FQRV a number of times...never disappointed. Location, obviously, is the big selling point...five minute walk to Bourbon Street.
Sites are nice...grass, brick pavers, full hookups. Restrooms are well-maintained...very clean. Nice hot tub for evening enjoyment. Wi-Fi is very good.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Sure the rates are "pricey", but you get what you pay for...and you could not stay closer to the French Quarter.

It is new, clean, and walking distance to the French Quarter and points beyond. Easy on and off from the highway. Full site hookup and WIFI. One block from the visitor center for the "Hop On - Hop Off" which we paid $24 each (senior rate). We rode the top of the double-decker bus while a tour guide pointed out points of interest. As the name implies, you can get off at any point of the tour and then hop back on when you are ready to see the next site. We walked all hours of the day and night and never felt unsafe. We were told to go to Central Grocery for a traditional Muffaletta sandwich but it was closed. All reports said "Franks" was the second best. Their offering is a HUGE sandwich - mostly bread and olives spread with hardly any meat or cheese. Very disappointed. We took half in a box so we could doctor it up at the trailer (more meat, more cheese!) but when a homeless person said she hadn't eaten in 2 days, I surrendered it gladly.

The most important thing in business is location, location, location. ..and have these guys got the location...literally 5min stumble to the french quarter. ...they are pricier than many other parks but its well worth it. The facilities are superb, the staff are very friendly and organised. They can book almost anything for you and trust their recommendations, we were not once disappointed. We spend two nights there and it was worth every cent. ..if we ever go back to NOLA then this will be our primary object.
