“Music All Afternoon and late into the Night!”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

We recently went to New Orleans Louisiana and had the opportunity to go to the New Orleans Musical Legends Park. We photographed statues of Minnesota Fats and other great legends and listened to the many different bands and musicians that played from early afternoon all the way into the wee late hours of the night! They take requests and pass a hat around for tips as well as charge a fee of $5.00 per person cover charge if you stay. A beer or cocktail is around $5.00 a (plastic) cup and there are food items to order, but most people just walk in and out of the park intrigued by the music playing. Into the evening hours, the wrought iron tables and chairs become a bit more formal and are dressed with white linens and the price of goods goes up.This park is on Bourbon Street so it gets really crowded and is very loud so if you are a party-loving, people-loving type of person - it is a stop you want to make!

“Stop in for a bite & a brew”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Musical Legends Park is a little plaza along Bourbon where you can grab a pretty decent sandwich & a beer or other libation & listen to some pretty good jazz players. We've stopped in half a dozen times and found it relaxing and entertaining. No cover, no minimum, no massive crowds. The prices are reasonable, especially for the Quarter.

“Good music, lousy service”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Seemed like a good idea and the music is good - music is still why so many people come to NOLA and this is one of the better places.
Unfortunately there is an incredibly rude woman behind the bar who does her best to make you feel unwelcome

“An Oasis on Bourbon Street.”
Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

Nice place to sit and listen to some fantastic bands, and enjoy a Beignet or a stiff drink. It's not as raucous as the main part of bourbon, and is a cool spot for older folks to chillax.
Enjoy it.

“Nice Side Spot”
Reviewed July 10, 2013 via mobile

Nicely hidden away from the wildlife of Bourbon Street. Have a good Hurricane and Beignet and listen to music. Musical Legends is beautiful and needed as a break from the New Orleans club life v
