You never know who's going to be playing. Free music, make sure and leave a tip. Have a cafe au late and a beignet while sitting down and relaxing a bit. Take a few pictures of the musical greats statues.

As stated, definitely get here early if you want a seat...but even those with empty chairs are willing to share the table. Some amazing music and talented performances here. Although on Bourbon St, it is such a magical place to just sit and relax and enjoy the sounds. Drinks (including coffee)and beignets are served in the back, with public bathrooms upstairs.

We travel to NOLA each December and during the day we stroll down Bourbon Street and we always land here to hear great New Orleans jazz music. The Bloody Mary's are a delight as well.

Get there early in the evening as it is generally standing room only with limited seating. There is a bar in the facility as well as a place to buy desserts and the like.

We were attracted to Music Legends Park by the crowd outside the gates. After weaving our way inside and finding a table, we found a relaxing harbor from the storm of Bourbon Street. The Live music is timeless and good, drink service is prompt and snacks are available from Cafe Beignet.
The experience was so pleasant we returned again on our last night in New Orleans. Different band but equally as memorable. We will return to this music oasis next time we visit the Big Eazy.
