Stopped in after a long day for great atmosphere and delicious food. Right on St. Charles line. Definitely recommend.

Generous portions, fresh salads and a good beer menu. Add in the very attractive and friendly wait staff and you have a winner.

This was our first lunch in NOLA during our recent visit. This was recommended by Tom at Maison Perrier. It's a short walk from the B&B, and a perfect introduction to the local cooking. We were seated on the front porch inside the building, with a nice street view and atmosphere of the streetcars rumbling by. We had a light lunch, starting with charbroiled oysters (6, served with grated cheese and a Florentine style), a cup of chicken and andouille gumbo, a signature salad (romaine, olives, homemade Caesar dressing) and crawfish and crab bisque with corn. We tried all of the dishes and they were excellent. We weren't quite ready to dive into the cocktail menu, so we just had a couple of glasses of unsweet tea. I wanted to come back another time for dinner, but we'll have to save this for our next trip. There are so many places to try, it seems a shame to repeat one.

We went for Mother's Day and decided right away that this will be one of our regular stops when in NOLA. There is something for everyone. Delicious homemade hamburgers for the kids, brunch, lunch and dinner menu's. My taste buds were in overdrive just looking at the menu. Located in uptown NO on historic St. Charles Ave. Parking is somewhat of a challenge or you can take the St. Charles streetcar! Reservations are recommended but, not necessary. You will not be disappointed. Can't wait for a return trip.
