NOLA POBOYS is now located on 908 Bourbon Street. Chef Will is now at the helm and the offerings are fantastic. You have to try the Crawfish and shrimp bisque. Awesome food, huge portions and at a great price.

Heads up......the NOLA Grocery at this location is closed! Having eaten there many times (I personally loved the crazy setting and hole-in-the-wall joint for Po-Boys and boudin), I was heart-broken to find it closed up and no more this past week.....10-1-13.

Tourists and non-adventurers be wary! Calling this a hole in the wall may not be doing it justice. Plain and simple, this place is a tiny, dirty grocery store with some of the best, largest, and reasonably priced poboys around! Irony at its best! Just keep your eyes on your food, as you may lose your appetite if your eyes wander!

After the glowing reviews, my friends and I decided to stop in for lunch. No one would help us. After calling the hungover cook from behind the counter for a menu, she snapped at us and said "you know you have to order at the counter, right?" Wrong, how is anyone supposed to know? Do you want business or not. My suggestion, don't waste your time. There are lots of great places that will treat you well.

The name of this place is misleading. It's really a Po'Boy sandwich place. The chicken salad has a lot of mayo. The turkey po'boy is average. It's close to the convention center and a good place for a quick lunch.
