“Great Afternoon of Food and History”

Loved this tour! Richard was very knowledgeable and friendly. Even though we had lived in New Orleans for 13 years, we still learned a lot of interesting facts about the food and history. The food was great and we came home stuffed. I'm sorry that we only had one more day in New Orleans to return to some of the places that we visited on the tour. . I recommend this tour at the beginning of your trip.

“Fun, informative food tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2012

It was my first time in New Orleans and heard plenty about food being one of the highlights so I thought a food tour seemed like a good idea. Don't eat before coming, you'll need the room in your stomach. We stopped about 5 or 6 places to sample good sized-portions of muffaletta, po-boy, gumbo/jambalya, beignet and pralines and also at a few other points to highlight other sites and sounds of New Orleans. Our tour guide did mention that some of the places we were at were featured on the Food Network, which was interesting. One of the highlights was when the chef came out to explain how they make their food. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth it.

“Amazing tour!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

My wife and I have lived in Nola for over two years. We have heard good things about the tastebud tour and finally got the chance to go when my parents came to town. It was amazing. Our tour guide, Richard, was knowledgable and tied in the food history wit the history of New Orleans and migration of different cultures. Hands down one of the best experiences we have had in Nola.

We took this tour while in New Orleans. We got to learn about the area and eat some yummy food. We went to 5 or 6 spots and got a good size taste at all the places it was nice to walk around and get to know the French Quarter too. The guide was great as well she really knew her stuff.
