We stayed for two nights three days in the king suite. It was a lovely home and room. The owner is very gracious and friendly. She offered advise for dining out and getting around town. We did not have a car. The breakfast were delicious. Her staff was friendly too. We will be back and would recommend to a friend. On our final day we were able to leave our luggage all day and they gave us a key to the house since they needed our room. The owner Linda is willing to go the extra mile to make her guest happy.

My mother and i, who live in Texas, arrived with her cousin and her husband from Canada in November. Linda made us all feel very welcome and gave us a tour of the property. The home is beautiful decorated with work from local artists, antiques, and fresh flowers. The breakfasts were fabulous. We did have a diabetic with us who had some special dietary needs and they were no trouble for Linda. Two nights into our stay, my mom decided that we had not had enough fun so we added talked to Linda about staying an additional night. The two rooms that we were in were booked for the next night so she showed us the rooms that she did have available. She even offered to have housekeeping move our luggage for us. Now this is a woman who understands customer service. My mother had such a great time that she had to find Linda to hug her before we left. We will be back.

The hospitality of Linda & her staff was wonderful in a beautifully appointed grand southern New Orleans house. The food was wonderful whether dining in the lovely dining room or in the courtyard. We have booked a return visit in the Fall. Highly recommend Terrell house.

We had a superb experience. We would encourage everyone to visit and stay in this exquisite one of a kind historic home. We will definitely visit in the future. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and courteous. This turn of the century remarkable house was rehabilitated with high end amenities’, every space has been updated, and it has been modernized with beautifully appointed bathrooms and kitchens, and air conditioning. The decoration and the ambient are very sophisticated with an eclectic—historical period style with beautiful antiques, paintings, and elegant curtains. Every space is kept up in style and super, super clean. The courtyard is great space to hang out after breakfast or in the late afternoon before going to dinner. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite home across from the large home. Our suite had a small living room, kitchenette, and a modern bathroom with white linen, large dove soap, large dove shampoo, and beautiful curtains. Our suite just is lovely, the A/C worked perfectly.

The breakfasts are delicious, with 100% white linen place mats and napkins, starched and ironed, real silverware, elegant plates, glasses and goblets. We could not wait for the next day to see what our chef had in store for us for our morning meal. The location is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood without the bustle of the downtown, a unique place, not like the run of the mill cookie cutter large hotels. It is within walking distant from the bus or trolley to the French quarter, a walk to the Convention Center. We discovered a beatnik artistic style neighborhood just a walk away. In this up and coming neighborhood we enjoyed the art studios of young artists, antiques shops with wonderful pieces, and scrumptious foods in unique restaurants.

We stayed here for four nights with family members in several rooms, so got to see several of the lovely antiques and comfortable layouts. Particularly lovely are the large suites upstairs in the main house. We enjoyed having the hearty, delicious breakfast in the tranquil garden. The staff was incredibly helpful with the minor things that come up when traveling with such a group, arranging taxi pick-ups, recommending places to eat, and making sure our various dietary needs were met. We now know the true meaning of Southern hospitality.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in New Orleans. The Terrell House was just perfect. From the first day we arrived, to the day we left, we were treated like family. Breakfast was to die for, hospitality was first class and we definitely will come back. We highly recommend the Terrell House and the Creole Townhouse... HIGHLY!!

Room Tip: Creole Townhouse for extended stays.

Spent a weekend in NOLA with 6 girlfriends. We stayed at Terrell House and LOVED it! We have been traveling on these girls weekends together for about 12 years and nearly always stay in a B&B because we like to have an area where we can hang out chatting and playing games. The place is gorgeous but comfortable, immaculate and Linda was so helpful accomodating our group. Annika was also very helpful and a great cook! The breakfasts were divine and the courtyard so nice to sit in with a bottle of wine visiting and playing cards. The beds are very comfortable and our unit had a kitchenette and living area. The location is perfect....we walked to the French Quarter one day, about 15 minutes, and took a walking tour of the Garden District another so both are easy to get to on foot if you are a walker. The best thing ever was Stanley! Get Linda to hook you up with Stanley the cab driver. He met us at the airport and then we arranged for him to pick us up in the evenings to get us home from wherever we planned to be. He drives a Suburban which accomodated our group perfectly. We had some very hairy scary cab rides when were unable to get Stanley so definitely schedule with him!
