I love this hotel. Stayed for New Years this year and will definitely be coming back. Great price, great location, friendly staff, quiet...it's perfect. You have to pay for parking at a daily rate, but it's one of the few places in the area that even has a parking lot. Stop by the hotel bar too, some locals hang out there, they are nice to talk to. Really charming hotel!

I have been staying at this hotel for many years. It has gotten a little tired over the years but it's location and old new orleans charm still make it a good choice, whether it's your first visit to this wonderful city or if, like me, you've been traveling to new orleans for over 50 years.

This is a charming hotel that is well located. We were able to easily walk to many things. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the cafe and the front desk clerks were very helpful.

The hotel's design is superb. Full of character.
The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable.
The location is the best. It's in the quarter but not in the middle of all the noise so you can sleep at night.

An old hotel with some flaws but very pleasant and also strategically located between Bourbon St. (2 blocks) and the French Market (2 blocks). It features a saltwater pool and a small cafe with limited hours.
Good locked parking at USD 10 / night.
We stayd with our daughter and 16 months old grandson and we felt safe all day and early evening hours.
We felt that it was quiet around the hotel at night.

Room Tip: Our room was facing Barracks str on second floor and we heard nothing during night hours from the st...

If you're ever lucky enough to visit this fantastic City -Hotel Le Richelieu in the French Quarter is the place to be. We were fortunate enough to see the Hotel sign from a distance. What a place... it's just amazing. The reception desk & lobby is similar to a 19th Century period drama film set . The staff were great & accommodated us straight away as we were cycling through to Dallas. They stored all our bicycles safely. Our rooms were amazing. They were extra clean, safe and spacious. ( A bit posh for me really, but it's great to spoil yourself every now & again.) Our room - number 406 had a great view over the French Quarter towards the Mississippi. The lift lobby offers a view of the city - 10 minutes away, but if you're booking here, its the French Quarter you want. A great hotel, 2 minutes from Bourbon Street & in the center of the stylish Jazz bars. The best I've ever stayed in, by a mile. !!

Room Tip: Room 406. Just superb, but then again, I imagine they all are.
