“Don't miss this gem !!”

Had great reviews and was even better than I thought . Room was large, with fridge, large Tv and very comfy beds. The lobby is charming... And offers FREE breakfast , free afternoon snacks and drinks. All hotel has fast free Internet.
A few very easy blocks to Bourbon Street, trolley right near hotel that for $3 for a day pass, takes you all around town and you can get on and off.
The hotel is charming... All positive points, no negative issues at all, and I am critical with reviews usually!

We've stayed at this Drury twice in 4 years and it's our choice when coming to NOLA. Their rooms are large and extremely clean. Very safe location, with ID card for elevator, pool, etc. One block from street car or easy 7 or so blocks to French Qtr. Great staff--very helpful and friendly. Their "Kick-Back" is unbelievable, but get there early or there will a line. Very full breakfast was a great way to start the day. Free coffee, soda and popcorn during the day. Everything you'd want in a hotel and more...

Room Tip: Higher rooms have great view of the city and seem quieter. Check out rooftop pool and hot tub at nig...

We stayed at the Drury Inn for a wedding over Memorial Day weekend. The location was great- very close to the cable car line and within walking distance of the river. The room was clean and well kept. Staff were very personable and friendly.

In true New Orleans fashion each guest received a card for 3 free drinks during happy hour. I wish that I was able to take advantage of it, but we were super busy with wedding stuff. I did manage to grab a snack during happy hour. It was alright- nachos and hot dogs, but it wasn't as elaborate as the website mentioned.

The breakfast, however, was a whole other deal. They had yogurt, cereal, make your own waffles, biscuits, gravy, eggs- it was endless. There were so many options.

We did manage to take a dip in the pool which was really nice. It was kind of small but not a big issue since it was empty when we went. There were plenty of lounge chairs and clean towels. The gym, as in many other hotels, was a bit of an afterthought, but there are so many places to walk and run in New Orleans it's not a necessity to have.

I would stay here again without any reservations. It was our first trip to a Drury chain but hopefully not our last.

Huge rooms, friendly staff and super clean. What do you say? A HAPPY HOUR? Count me in! Breakfast is great with lots to choose from. Parking does cost a pretty penny ($25 a day) but we only stayed one day. Location is very convenient to French Quarter. Definitely will stay here again!

For starters its america, so home of customer service. The heating was broken in our room and they immediately switched us rooms and upgraded us to a suite for the same cost. Its a great location close to everything. They offer a great breakfast buffet and a later afternoon buffet of snack and also alcoholic drinks all for free. The location is quiet besides the tram, you can hear it very clearly. we enjoyed our stay very much

We stayed here for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend ( Saturday and Sunday ). Myself, husband and baby daughter.
This hotel isn't posh. There are no frills. It's a decent place to keep your stuff while you explore the city - that's it. Well, that's what it was for us anyway.
While we were there, there was a large group of kids staying there as well. There were at least 30 kids. It was some sort of sports team, aged from about 7 - 10. They were LOUD. They ran, they played ball in the entrance way and they ruined the pool for us. Now, understand. I am not anti kid. I have 4 of my own and I know how kids are. But some of these kids were just out of hand. I know it isn't the hotel's fault, but the atmosphere of the hotel seemed to be accepting of all the yelling and running. Also, **someone** pulled the fire alarm twice one night and the entire hotel had to be evacuated and the fire dept. had to clear the place while we all stood out in the parking lot. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT!
The room we stayed in was 522. It is a 2 room suite. It was spacious and the carpet was new looking, but the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. There was mildew in the shower, stray hairs *yuck*, and the jacuzzi tub had seen better days.
This is probably a good place to stay for someone who had hungry kids and needs to cut costs though. Because there is a free breakfast in the morning, and snacks and drinks at 5:30pm. The food is just food. It isn't good, but kids don't usually care. There is also free popcorn and sodas from 3pm-10pm.
This hotel is pet friendly. I think that's gross, but some people seem to enjoy it.
Another downer was that there seemed to only be about 3 luggage carriers in the entire hotel - which you have to load and move yourself. No help from anyone there.
I can't say too many good things about my experience here. The valet guys were nice. But that's about it. I wouldn't stay here again unless I was bringing all of my kids and the dog and I didn't have the money to stay anywhere else.
Oh, one more thing. It's almost impossible to catch a cab at that hotel. The cabbie told us later that they don't usually pick up from there.
