“Cheap good food”

Food is good, prices are cheap, service is good.
Place is small though so don't go during peak eating hours.

“Great location and food!!”
Reviewed August 10, 2013 via mobile

Nice little hole in the wall. They serve breakfast all day I believe. They serve these sautéed potatoes that were REALLY good. Convenient location and huge omelets. The ham used there has a very good smoked flavor and the bacon is awesome! Y'all need to give this place a shot.

“Hidden Treasure”
Reviewed August 9, 2013

My daughter and I were looking for a place to eat and stumbled.upon this quaint eating place by accident but so glad we did. Low prices and great food. Since we were in New Orleans I was planning on ordering a Creole or Cajun dish bit somehow decided on the BLT on rye; best sandwich ever. The fruit salad was devine. The gooey butter cake was great. The only thing better was my low, low bill. My daughter and my meal including an order of french fries to go was less than $26; with desert?

“Excellent service and fantastic value! GREAT EXPERIENCE”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

We went to New Orleans for the FOOD. We did our research and had all the spots lined out that we wanted to try....and I have to say that we were 1/2 way disappointed. So on our last day we decided to just try our luck by popping in any random place we walked by that looked good and Jimmy J's was that joint. SO GLAD WE DID!

The service was excellent! John, our server, was friendly and took the time to visit and joke without over staying his welcome at the table. And food.....what a great value! The portions were huge, the ingredients fresh, and the prices were super reasonable (especially for the amount of food we were given)! Some of our group had breakfast and the rest had sandwiches, all were delicious!

If you're in the French Quarter and hungry, go to Jimmy J's!

“Good food good friends good times”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

The bartender with the curly waxed whiskers was great (his name escapes me) and the food was good as well. Definitely a place I'll hit again.
