Description: Mojitos Rum Bar & Grill is the friendly place on Frenchmen wherepeople come for great Creole inspired Caribbean influenced food, handcrafted cocktails, and live local music. Guests enjoy the lush green courtyard, one of the largest in the French Quarter, with its expansive bar and gurgling fountain. The owners have worked hard to create a welcoming place to relax and enjoy wonderful food and drink that isn’t found in every tourist place in the Quarter. The collection of artisanal aged rums, for tasting or blending into favorite cocktails, grows weekly.

I was enjoying a nice late lunch when a jazz quartet, led by Larry Foyen, began to play. The bands' vibe was so special, they turned my meal into a most memorable event.
I pray that God takes care of the music makers, cuz they sure do drum something in our souls.

This bar is just outside the French Quarter down by Frenchman St. in a much quieter, more relaxed area of New Orleans. We sat outside and listened to the jazz music while enjoying the view up the street. I wish we had found this area of the city the 1st night!
The mojitos were good, but I would stick with the original (the flavored ones weren't that special). The service was great, and the Jerk chicken skewers appetizers were fantastic. Beware though - you need plenty of drinks to get down these spice-covered bites!!

We spent every evening outdoors at Mojitos, the atmosphere is fabulous and you feel like you stepped into a tropical paradise! During the week they offer happy hour and have awesome Blues or Jazz music starting at 6 p.m. The staff is friendly and the owner, Bruce, is hands on and wants everyone to have a positive experience at Mojitos. We had small plates which were great and they have a fine dining menu for all tastes. I highly recommend a visit to Mojitos to top off your Nola experience!!

We walked to Frenchmen St to check it out during the day (not much happening). So we decided to stop in for a Mojito which turned into brunch. The food was delicious. The service was great. The music was wonderful. We went back at night to see Frenchmen St. and listen to some music. Stopped back into the Mojito Bar because we enjoyed it during the day. It was like being back in Cuba.
