Went on this cruise as part of an organized nurses conference tour - it was great food, music and very relaxing - definitely worth doing!

We had great food and fellowship.Bread pudding was the best! Option for relaxing music or more active upbeat style in the lower level. Rain and cold kept most of us inside and darkness limitied views but night lights of the city are also impressive. Staff friendly. Got picture taken prior to boarding.

We took the evening dinner cruise on 3/2. We boarded the boat at 7 pm. A picture was taken as each group boarded. $10 for a good picture. Then we were taken to our dinner table. Ordered drinks and then stared on the buffet. Food was very good for a buffet and plentiful. Jazz band played while we dined. Then at 8:00 we left the dock for a 2 hour ride. Ride would have been a little better if it was lighter out to see more. But can't change when the sun sets. Overall, I have no complaints and was a fun evening. Look for $10 off per person coupons in the New Orleans visitor guide.

The cruise was quite boring, not much to really see and I am a history buff. For the price, I would not do it again. The paddle steamer was interesting and there were a couple points of interest but otherwise a very expensive couple of hours. I got so much more out of touring the plantation homes, Oak Alley etc.

We enjoyed the ride and the narration. We took our visiting 24 year old daughter, sat in the stern and enjoyed cocktails, it was warm and sunny - a perfect January afternoon. We learned alot and would do it again. We did not get the meal, and after seeing it we were very glad that we didn't. There are frequently coupons available and package discounts which makes it more affordable.
