Nice hotel. The staff was very helpful and informative. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is only three short blocks to Bourbon Street. The hotel is also less than a 15 minute walk to the French Market, Riverwalk, and Canal Street where the Trolleys are located. Contrary to what we were told, we felt safe walking the entire French Quarter area (both day and night). The hotel is also conveniently located to restaurants. We were pleased that we didn't have to drive anywhere. A great place to stay for travelers on a budget.

Room Tip: All rooms faced the pool and courtyard. Stay on the second or third floors for better natural lighti...

I wish I had checked the exact location in regards to the French Quarter before I booked it. It is located .2 mi from the French Quarter but it is about .7 miles from downtown. My mistake though so if I go back to New Orleans I'd rather stay closer to downtown.

Hotel was great. Staff wonderful and friendly. Far enough away from all the craziness but close enough to walk to it if desired. Sometimes we could hear others come in during the evenings from the craziness-expected in this area in my opinion. Room was so much nicer than I thought it would be. Bed was comfy. Great place to stay if you want to explore the French Quarter but not be right in the middle of it.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony view over the pool if you want a nice view!

terrific place to stay near for French Quarter. Full service bar and great pool area with plenty of seating for all. Wonderful breakfast --had a family reunion there and everyone loved it--elevator a little small, but still would go back every time in New Orleans

First time to New Orleans. So glad we found this hotel. It is right across from Louis Armstrong park. A beautifu park. We stayed 8 nights. Very reasonably priced. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The room was perfect. Unusual to have walls painted dark but we really liked it. The breakfast was a perfect variety. Waffle maker saw a lot of action. They were good. Eggs every day and different breakfast meat each day. Cereal yogurt toast fruit. Couldn't ask for more. Such a convenience. We really appreciated it. Staff made tour reservations which was a huge help. Most tours pick u up at hotel. Really felt like the tourist industry and the hotels had it all worked out ..which meant it all worked for us. Hotel was a straight shot down st Anne's which ended at cafe dumonde. So easy to find our way back. Stop for bengiets every night and roll on back down st Anne to n rampart. Turn right walk a couple blocks and ahhhh just like being home.

Room Tip: Ask for top floor overlooking pool/courtyard.
