we celebrated our 7th year wedding anniversary .......On The edge of the french quarter with the beautiful Louis Armstrong Park Right across the street with some strong History in arms reach was perfect. A short walk to bourbon street , french Market place, Shopping, Food etc..... The room was nice and the free breakfast was a great way to start off a busy day, the hotel staff was friendly but one that stood out was Mrs. Tracy Robinson, who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful......The hotel was quiet and peaceful which you will need after a day and night in the french quarters..... I would recommend this hotel to family, friends and you.... When and If I return I will be staying here.... Thank you!!

Had a great time during the Essence Music Festival (Fourth of July weekend). Hotel is not directly on Bourbon street, but that's the good thing. It's about a 5 minute walk (probably less, but it was hot down there so we walked slow) from all the action on Bourbon Street, but you get peace and quiet when you want it. From check in hotel was very accommodating. When we booked we were told all rooms with 2 double beds were sold out, but when we checked in we were able to get just what we wanted. Rooms are a good size and clean. Pool/garden area is cute and clean. AND there was free hot breakfast! Make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurt, fruits, cereal, home fries, oatmeal, etc… not the best food, but decent. Front desk staff helped us set up swamp tour and steamboat ride. Also had a bar that looked nice, I didn’t personally use it, but saw several patrons there on different occasions.

Happy with this hotel!

Room Tip: It's relatively quiet on this street, but some rooms are facing the street, so opt for a room fa...

We have reserved for a 4 day stay at the Best Western Plus French Quarter, from July 25th to july 29th.
The room was clean but the air conditionning doesn't cool down the entire room.... we had to request 68F to be comfortable but it still wasn't cold enough. The outside temperature is around 100F it takes something really efficient to cool down the room, what the hotel doesn't seem to have.
Another thing, the most disturbing one.... we paid upon arrival for a parking pass for our entire stay. The last night, we came back at the hotel at 6pm to find out that the gates were closed.... the clerck told us, as if it was normal, that the first arrived is the first served!!!! They overbook there parking!!! The best thing he can propose us.... park on the street or go 7 blocks away in a public parking....we will refund you your 20$. What a service! I am sure we were there before a lot of new customers arriving on saturday for the week-end!

We will certainly not recommand this hotel to anybody that needs a parking....

We have just completed our seond stay at this property and it was once again amazing. Even viewing the pics of this property makes me sad that I am not again there. This hotel is fantastic, right down to their housekeeping. Rooms were once again immaculate. This time, I stopped to chat with one of the housekeepers, thanking her for our previous stay and she was an absolute angel. This place also offers the best hotel breakfast that I have ever had, even at a 4 star. Attendant ensures that all is perfect. Thanks again. We spend 15-20 nights annually in hotels, and this one is my absolute fave anywhere. Perfect choice for families with young children.

Very nice room, updated and modern. Great breakfast buffet. Quiet, walking distance to whole French Quarter. Friendly, helpful staff. Pool was nice. Wish it had a restaurant though. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in New Orleans.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool and courtyard are the quietest.

We were not expecting much for the price we got compared to other places in area. The staff was very friendly and room was very clean and up to date. The breakfast was ok and nice to have available for the good price we paid for the room. The parking spots are too small and expect to get dings on your car if you park there. Was blocked in one morning and told front desk and they beat me back to my car and quickly moved the valet car. Can't say enough about the friendly staff that we talked with during our week visit. Worth the price for the stay for sure. We have stayed and more expensive hotels in area and got less. Worth a stay for sure.

Travelling through New Orleans with children, we wanted to get the feel of the French Quarter without exposing the kids to EVERYTHING the French Quarter offers. The location of this hotel, just on the edge of the Quarter was perfect. We were within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, but once we were ready for bed, we were far enough away from the noise and busy-ness to get some sleep. The rooms were clean, the lobby and bar charming. Didn't like the up-front $120 "incidental fee", but I would certainly stay here again.
