Highly recommend! Went to NOLA for 4 days with 5 people and the Cajun Encounters Swamp Tour was by far one of the highlights of our stay. Booking was incredibly easy, the facilities were excellent and the tour itself was so much fun! We took the early tour and drove out ourselves. We were able to check-in first and got on the first boat out. Captain Bishop was great! He was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about his job. His humor and ability to keep us entertained was awesome! We saw a whole bunch of gators!!! Got to see One-Eyed Jack, and Little Billy, and one of the jumbo gators, ScarFace! It was incredibly fun!

Recommend taking an early tour to beat the heat, don't forget sunblock and bug spray as there wasn't any at the shop. The souvenir shop was very affordable and all the staff were great. We'd go back again!

This tour was by far the biggest highlight of our trip. From the second we arrived we were loving it, a big thanks for it definitely goes to our guide captain Bishop that was entertaining and knowledgeable.

We saw 30 alligators, racoon, spiders and turtles and learned a lot during the 2 hour trip. If you are anywhere near you need to visit - am shocked this is not number one on tripadvisor, it should be.

Ryan was a very nice guide for a perfect trip. He pointed out all the interseting spots on the river and kept a funny and smooth atmosphere on the boat. We highly recommend this Tour.

The bus ride out to the swamp from the French quarter was long but the driver gave us a nice history/geography lesson as we passed many interesting spots.
The swamp tour was awesome! My husband and I loved it. Right off the bat we saw the largest gator in the area referred to as Brutus. He was so cooperative(which we were told isn't always the case). He was huge! We saw so many gators on our tour from huge and scary to tiny and funny. Also lots if birds and feral pigs. Our guide was hilarious. I wish I could remember his name. He was extremely knowledgable and entertaining. We will def tell anyone we know that's planning a Nola trip to do this tour!
