This place was wonderful as the location wsa close to everying in the French Quarter and I was lucky enough to have a room away from the noise in Bourbon Street. Gorgeous pool area, delightful concierge and lovely ambience. I just loved it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the street so you get less noise from Bourbon Street at night.

Travelling with a tour. Not a location I would have picked if I'd had a choice but was changed at the last minute due to storm damage on our original hotel. Bourbon Street at night was a bit too much for us. The rooms were OK but nothing special. Beds comfy as all the beds on the tour had been. All the essentials in the bathroom and shower was good. Bathroom only small. I requested a quiet room. We were on the 3rd Floor overlooking the pool and we could not hear anything from the street. The staff were very friendly and obliging.
Breakfast was another story. Our tour was segrated into another room for breakfast which was classed as an American breakfast. This was the worse breakfast we had experienced on the whole trip. Juice/lukewarm tea and coffee out of a flask. Toast and jam, scrambled egg and fatty bacon. No Cereal - No Yoghurts - No waffles or pancakes and the same every day.
Don't get an inclusive breakfast go out and get breakfast. A better breakfast selection was available in the main dining room but was expensive as it was costed per item.
The Pool was nice and quiet. Very clean and water nice and warm,

Room Tip: Room overlooking the pool to get a quiet room and a good nights sleep

The Four Points by Sheraton was a very nice hotel. I usually have trouble sleeping away from home but not this time! The staff was helpful with anything I asked and I feel they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I had a room on the fourth floor with a balcony overlooking Toulouse. It was quiet, clean and I didn't have to worry about all the noise over Bourbon St. The only problem we had at all was the A/C. It was so hot and humid and the fan was all that was working. The maintenance guy came in and looked at it right away but it quit working again within an hour. We were only staying a couple of nights so we just let it go. Otherwise, everything was great.

Room Tip: I loved the room with a balcony on Toulouse St. It was quiet but still enough going on in the stree...

We stayed in the French Quarter to visit nearby restaurants. We couldn't have made a better choice. The staff was helpful and friendly, the hotel was an excellent value, and the location was perfect. Everything we wanted to see and do was within easy walking distance. The room was clean, quiet and had a nice balcony. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Great location. Close to everything. We had a side street balcony room on Toulouse Street. Street noise was not an issue for us. The room was pretty nice. Carpet worn but the bed & bedding were nice. The bathroom was small, but was all the room we needed with the extra counter top. The shower was great. I was afraid the older hotel wouldn't have good water flow, but it was perfect. There wasn't a lamp on the desk & the room was pretty dark which was an issue for me because I put my makeup on at the desk while my husband is in the shower. The Hubs had to call 3 times to get an iron delivered to the room. Valet service was quick & polite. Absolutely no attitude from any hotel staff* but the bellman & valet staff were the friendliest.
*Do NOT let the front desk staff send you to Deanie's Seafood. Terrible!

Room Tip: Toulouse Street balcony room was nice. You can see Bourbon Street, but if you want to be in the acti...

Stayed here 2 nights in September while attending a conference in the hotel. Several unfinished renovations in the making. Ceiling in 2nd floor hallway has been cut open and patched throughout. Room itself was small and had stains on the carpet. Very loud if you have a room on Bourbon St.

Refreshments for the conference facilities left a lot to be desired. Ran out of napkins, cups, coffee and the attendant was slow to respond to request for items to be replenished.

Lunch menu in the restaurant was very limited, service was slow, and food was just average. Many better options by walking a block or two to other restaurants.

Stayed for 1 night recently and was doubtful about the central Bourbon location BUT had upper floor courtyard so felt like I was in a chateau with the most HEAVENLY BED! Room service breakfast was prompt and eggs cooked perfection. Bathroom is small but nice French furniture. The front desk service was spotty so some need better training. I believe Sheraton has made and continues to make improvements to lobby and lounge feel. Jazz duo was nice touch but when you step onto Bourbon be ready for the action. Enjoyed Pat O'Briens, Blues Club and Zydeco nearby!
