I read somewhere that Frenchmen street was a fun stop in NO. The three Muses did not disappoint. Possibly the best jazz in town.

“greatest small plates”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

The seating is very close, and I guess service depends on your server. We had a great bubbly gal, music was great and not over powering. Food. was. delicious- I don't think anything on the menu can miss

“Great food, fun vibe, meh service”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

It's small, and they don't take reservations, and we waited a long time. That being said, I love Frenchmen St, the live music was really nice, and the food was great. I love the idea of small sharing plates--we tried the mac and cheese, which came with Brussels sprouts, and the duck pizza. Both were great. I also really liked the Orange Blossom Sazerac I tried.

“A little gem”
Reviewed August 5, 2013 via mobile

Our party of four stumbled upon this restaurant and it being off season we were seated immediately, otherwise I imagine it would be impossible to get in. The menu is tapas style with portions being somewhere between an appetizer and an entree. So you don't have to order a lot to feel satisfied. However, you may want to order everything on the menu as it is all fresh and yummy, and expertly prepared. The fish tacos are to die for, the tofu bulgogi is a satisfying blend of flavors and textures. Be sure to save room for dessert. We shared the sweet empanada paired with some of their homemade ice cream ... sublime. ... Oh, the music was really good too, and not so loud that you could not have a conversation.

“Get there early”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

Great food, great music, great drinks. Dropped by here our last night in New Orleans. We had feta fries, lamb sliders, pork belly pancakes, and crab cake fritters. The food is probably best classified as small plates, so get plenty and share. Everything was delicious and the pork belly pancakes might have been the best thing I ate in New Orleans. They also make amazing cocktails.
