“Fun evening in the Marigny”

The food was delicious and eclectic, the music was outstanding (bought the CD) and the drinks were perfect for my simple tastes and my cocktail-snob friends. Great time all around.

“Excellent Tapas and Entertainment”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

Frenchmen Street is located near the French Quarter, but light years away from the neon and "glitziness" of Bourbon Street. We met several local couples earlier and both suggested that we try this restaurant. I am so glad that we listened to them. The food was excellent, the menu is comprised only of tapas, salads, were reasonably priced and well prepared. The beer selection( draft) is generous and we found several of our local favorites on tap. The entertainment the night that we were there was a local jazz group that was fronted by one of the "muses" and was just absolutely on top of her game. Hint: when we arrived there was an hour and half wait( Sunday night) so the host suggested that we walk the neighborhood and return in an hour or so. We discovered the 'Spotted Cat, Musical Cafe" in the next block. No cover charge and the entertainment was some of the best that we enjoyed during our stay. in New Orleans.Went back the next night !

“Fun place on Frenchmen”
Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

Went to Three Muses on a busy Sunday night. Interesting service style with floating servers and bartenders. We enjoyed this type of service and did not feel forgotten at all. Food was excellent all around, and the server was sure to point out that usually at least two dishes per person are required to make a meal. Finding four dishes on this lovely menu was NO problem at all. Food was served as it was available, and turned out to be paced very well. Live music with a guitar and accordion made this a meal to remember.

“Casual, interesting tapas with a cool vibe.”
Reviewed May 7, 2013 via mobile

We were cruising Frenchmen Street looking for music (albeit a little early in the evening) and chose this place because we had heard they served tapas portioned entrees. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food - must tries are the scallops with risotto, the Mac 'n cheese with Brussels sprouts, the lobster egg rolls and lamb sliders with goat cheese - all terrific. Only disappointment was the music didn't start until 7 pm - check their lineup as some of the other bars had live music as early as 4 pm. This restaurant/ bar took credit cards but many bars don't so check first. Frenchmen Street is a must for music lovers - a much cooler and hip vibe than anything else in the French Quarter. Recommend hopping from bar to restaurant to bar to get a variety of music. Most places take CASH only.

“Creatively yummy”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

Deep fried homemade pickle chips - light, warm, amazing. The Mac 'n Cheese had roasted Brussels sprouts and handmade shell pasta. The selections are tapas sized so you can try a couple of things. Great live music with with only a one-drink per set minimum.
