“Highlight of the trip”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

I really enjoyed this tour our family took with Hope. It was exactly what I was looking for, an engaging and history intensive look at some really important aspects of african american history in New Orleans. By far the best tour we took while we were there!! I HIGHLY recommend!

“GREAT TOUR OF TREME”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

What a terrific way to spend a spring afternoon. Luke was an excellent tourguide, providing a wealth of info about the area, as well as giving us a historical context for what we were seeing. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wishing to see a real neighborhood in New Orleans.

“Treme Was Cookin'”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

We spent two wonderful hours today touring Treme. Our tour guide, Luke, was fantastic and his knowledge of and enthusiasm for the subject made for a most enjoyable--and informative--experience. We knew quite a bit about Treme and New Orleans beforehand, but learned so much more. We can't recommend this tour and our tour guide, Luke, highly enough. Bring your walking shoes and a cold beverage and get ready to be educated and entertained.

“Authentic neighbourhood in NOLA”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

This tour is for tourists who want to know the "real" New Orleans beyond the barf and beads of Bourbon Street. Robert was very knowledge about the history of one of the original Free People of Colour neighbourhoods in America. Safe and on its way up, I am glad to have walked the streets of Treme and learned a lot along the way.

“Wonderful!”

The walking wasn't unbearable at all! Plenty of stops along the way. Our tour guide, Hope, was very knowledgable and sweet! Really enjoyed it and would recommend it to everyone!
