Owner description: Considered one of the most haunted locations in the French Quarter, a peak at this historic mansion (circa 1832) will send chills up and down your spine.

We learned of this house while on our first haunted history tour. These tours are really neat and kid friendly. The story behind this particular building is probably the most interesting that we heard out of two tours with two different companies.

So I really wanted to see this house. On my third day of demanding to see it before we left, we googled walking directions. We had walked past I dont even know how many times. The people at the Verdi Mart across the street gave us some good info. I also suggest eating there. It is residental so its easy to miss not even realizing it.

If you know the history of this house, it's worth it to walk by. If you don't, it just looks like the rest of the buildings in the french quarter. You can walk right up to it any time though. I felt a weird presence just being near the house knowing what happened there.
