We discovered RHOB during our most recent trip to NOLA and fell in love with it! The best catfish we have ever had!! The salad was great as well! If the weather is nice, be sure to sit outside on the balcony. Maybe you'll get lucky like us and be able to listen to and watch one of the street musician groups while you dine. We loved it so much we ate there twice on this trip - don't miss it! Try to avoid peak times such as straight up noon and prime dinner times to avoid waiting in line.

Good, filling southern style food at reasonable prices. Unassuming atmopshere yet comfortable. Oysters practiaclly any way you want. I tried the seafood gumbo, jambalaya and etouffe--all were good My wife had the seafood pasta which was excellent.

Okay, Dracos forget it, these charbroiled oysters do not need to be covered in bread to taste good, and the Hurricanes here actually have fruit juice in them not powered drink mix(pat o's) Try it its consistant, main issue I have is its a bit pricey on some items.

Oysters on the halfshell just a few blocks off Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. We arrived in New Orleans famished and found this resturant just a few blocks from our hotel. Excellent door staff with a warm welcome. We were taken to a table for two by french doors that opened onto the sidewalk. There was a great view of the vibrant city and ordered a couple of house Abita drafts. Service was friendly and quick. Soon, a dozen fresh oysters arrived to share. Chilled, briny, deliciousness served with some spicy cocktail sauce. They were so good, we ordered another dozen! For the final course, I ordered charbroiled oysters to complete this oyster feast. They were really good (although not the best in NOLA...check another review), piping hot and buttery.

Good location, great service and delicious seafood all in the same place. Just what we needed to kick start a great NOLA vacation!

Classic French Quarter spot. Decent size servings. 6 grilled shrimp with the jambalaya for example. The broiled oysters were very good. Not a place to order the wine (as my wife found out).
