Serio's serves excellent Po' Boys...and it's a bonus if you're also a fan of LSU. Serio's is not anything fancy and not even on normal beaten paths. But it was worth tracking down the restaurant which is one block off Canal away from the Quarter. The staff is great, service decent but food excellent. If Mike is not away at LSU games, then spend a few moments talking with him...fun guy. And maybe even order an Oyster Po' Boy the way Mike likes to eat them! Enjoy :-)

We visited Serio's on a walking food tour. Did you know that Mufalattas were created as a lunch option for workers so they wouldn't have to keep the food cold?
A kind of "not fast food, but fast food" atmosphere. Nothing wildly impressive, but an institution you can't miss! If you're an LSU fan, don't miss it!
We loved being part of the "locals" scene!

Some of the best meals we had in New Orleans were at Serios. The Roast Beef Po' boy is awesome. Don't miss out.

I came to this place on a Taste bud tour and had a yummy muffuletta and was told it was the best one in the city. It was really good! The owner was really nice and spent an extra hour talking to our group. I would return again!

Finally stopped in after passing by for 10 years. The thing is they have got funky hours of operation. 11am -3pm and they used to close on the weekends too. Got a delicious ham and cheese po boy and a good roast beef po boy. Prices are reasonable and staff is both friendly and quick. There's not a big variety on the menu but has enough from which to choose. Will go back and try the mufaletta
