We normally avoid anywhere with less than 10 reviews - should have done so here! It sounded good on the 5 reviews, especially for breakfast/brunch snack - but they had no food!!! 'Should've checked the website' you say - we did - said they were open for business.
Advice - only stop here if you're passing anyway!

Snarky baristas working in a wacky coffee house, serving good coffee in an awesome city. THAT is a true coffee house. Love it. Never trust a perky barista.

Forget Starbucks, Cafe Du Monde or PJ's. This is it. This is the best coffee in New Orleans.

I visit every year and stay at the St. Vincent's across the street. Each year, I would get up every day for a large Cafe au Lait and a Times Picayune newspaper. Sitting on the street, watching the Garden District wake up and listening to the characters around you catch up with each other.

It's cash only but there's an ATM there ($2.50 service charge). Free fast wifi also available. Outdoor seating. Homemade muffins/coffee cakes/scones and bagels are available for breakfast. The iced lemonade looked amazing but I didn't have it this time. It's just a great place to go if you're in the area and want to try some seriously good coffee!

We were staying nearby and found this little coffee shop through my Urbanspoon app. Being from Seattle, we wanted a good cup of coffee and found it here. They also offer a few pastries. It's a laid back place, lots of folks on their laptops. The barista helped us figure out how to take the St. Charles Street trolley for the first time. Just a nice friendly neighborhood coffee house.
