“Worth a short wander”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2014

It needs some maintenance but too much and it would lose it's charm and feel. A meander through the crumbling remains reminds the history

“A Large Cemetery At The End of Canal Trolley Line”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

We visited here because there was a 5k run going on. My sister ran in it. It was nice but it is 'regular' cemetery.

“Spooky”

We took trolley across from our hotel directly to the end of the line. Three cement aires that all are just a little different.

“Metairie Cemetery is worth the drive ... and it's really not that far”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

It is a beautiful cemetery with rich histories. I got some fantastic photographs. You are able to both walk and drive around. It is right off of I-10 and about 10 min from the garden district where we stayed.

“Cemetery better for the deceased”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2014

Although the cemetery was interesting, it was old raised tombs. I personally didn't care to spend a lot of time there in the blistering hot sun. Just my 2 cents.
