Owner description: The partying never stops on Bourbon Street, the French Quarter's liveliest and wildest thoroughfare, where the rhythmic sounds of jazz, country western, Dixieland and sultry blues permeate the air. Brimming with life, you'll find everything from shopping to music to Cajun food to nightclubs.

“OK see it once”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

lots of bars with bands. We were lucky enough to find a good Zydeco band in the Krazy Korner. Spent a few hours there. Bourbon street is nasty and gets nastier as the day gets longer. After your are tired of the smell of old booze and urine go to Frenchmen Street for some REAL jazz. Street art and other music.

“Fun, Fun and more Fun!!”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

This was probably the most fun part of my trip! It's been a long time since I was out dancing until 3:30am but on Bourbon street time stands still! The bars are all open with fresh air, obviously great music and if you didn't like the music you just grabed your drink and went to the next bar! Being able to walk the streets with your drink and just enjoy the enviroment is awesome.

“Party!”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

Loved hanging out on Bourbon - it was much busier during the day on the Tuesday I went than late at night. Basically just ended up going day drinking during the days we were there. The drinks on Bourbon are not exorbitantly priced, at least during the day we found a lot of buy one, get one free drink slushie stands. Can't wait to go back!

“Exactly what you expect”
Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

Drinks, drunks, and beads! Can be really crowded but worth the time to experience at least once. Hurricane and hand grenade are the most popular drinks. I didn't find a cover at any bar and they are very lax on the rules ;-) take the time to experience once but don't bring the kids!

“excellent tourist trap”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Bourbon Street is a excellent street to visit during the day. Many Musicians playing great jazz music. As for the many gift shops, and other T-Shirts shops. Make sure you look around at them all they have various pricing. One price is higher and lower at each store. This includes the beads, and masks for gifts. But some where just outrageouse.
