Owner description: The partying never stops on Bourbon Street, the French Quarter's liveliest and wildest thoroughfare, where the rhythmic sounds of jazz, country western, Dixieland and sultry blues permeate the air. Brimming with life, you'll find everything from shopping to music to Cajun food to nightclubs.

You will see things here that you won't see anywhere else, especially during Mardi Gras. NOTHING is off limits, and the visitors and locals alike take advantage of that. It is free wheeling, high stepping, and lots of fun. Don't go if you are a prude.......

“Great people watching”

When in NOLA, you gotta stop at the French Quarter and bourbon street. At night it's always a party, although some times more so than others. Some nice bars and decent restaurants. You'll see ANYTHING on bourbon street. Buyer beware. Actually here twice but just doing review (dec 2007 and feb 2008).

“Not for "kids" but a must see/do”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

I stay at the Ritz almost every other week, so I am only yards away from Bourbon while staying on Canal Street.. Bouron is fun when there are events going on but there is really no reason to go much once you have seen it once...NIce old buildings and some crazy sites BUT most of your better restaurants will be away from Bourbon and your better music/bars.
