Owner description: The partying never stops on Bourbon Street, the French Quarter's liveliest and wildest thoroughfare, where the rhythmic sounds of jazz, country western, Dixieland and sultry blues permeate the air. Brimming with life, you'll find everything from shopping to music to Cajun food to nightclubs.

“Hasn't changed - still Sleazy”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

The rest of NOLA has had a facelift...Bourbon Street remains the same...a little sleazy. If you like the experience of the darker side...this might be for you.

“ANother fun night in NOLA.”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

This place is great. The atmosphere is fun, friendly and a little magical. Safety of everyone appears to be the most important goal here. There is a police presence but they do not interfere with any of the fun, they just keep it safe. Way to go NOPD. Plan your transportation or parking before you get down here,as once you get to Bourbon Street the traffic is very slow.

“You never know what you'll see...”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

O.M.G. We visited during the time of year that the Essence Festival was going on and man on man are there some characters that walk the streets! It was awesome though! There are margarita bars, karaoke bars, gay bars, rocker bars, hip hop bars and jazz bars. It is a wealth of culture and I loved it! Of course this is a hot tourist attraction in New Orleans (As it should be). It you like to people watch then this is the place to be...there is hours and hours of people watching to do here. The bottom line is that there is not a bad minute spent on Bourbon Street.
