Owner description: The partying never stops on Bourbon Street, the French Quarter's liveliest and wildest thoroughfare, where the rhythmic sounds of jazz, country western, Dixieland and sultry blues permeate the air. Brimming with life, you'll find everything from shopping to music to Cajun food to nightclubs.

O.M.G. We visited during the time of year that the Essence Festival was going on and man on man are there some characters that walk the streets! It was awesome though! There are margarita bars, karaoke bars, gay bars, rocker bars, hip hop bars and jazz bars. It is a wealth of culture and I loved it! Of course this is a hot tourist attraction in New Orleans (As it should be). It you like to people watch then this is the place to be...there is hours and hours of people watching to do here. The bottom line is that there is not a bad minute spent on Bourbon Street.

It was just after a Parade. So crouded you could hardley walk thru. Very interesting people of ALL kinds. Some wild outfits. Some skimmpy clothes. Lot of really drunk people just hanging on the wall to stand up!!! Everyone should see it once in your life! Party central.
