Owner description: The partying never stops on Bourbon Street, the French Quarter's liveliest and wildest thoroughfare, where the rhythmic sounds of jazz, country western, Dixieland and sultry blues permeate the air. Brimming with life, you'll find everything from shopping to music to Cajun food to nightclubs.

With so much to see and so many great places to eat, when you walk down on Bourbon Street get ready to party New Orleans style!

Bourbon Street exists to extract money from your wallet, whether or not you enjoy yourself isn't really important to the establishments here. Maybe walk through it once to say you did, then go over to Royal St.

So much to do. So much to drink and eat. I went down this street during the day and was amazed. Went back when it was dark and I was even more amazed. It is loud and a bit crazy. But so much fun. They have 3 for 1. Which is if you order a Corona (or other drinks)you pay $7.50 and they give you 3. I didn't know about it so at first I thought it was a mistake:) the music is great too.

Ok during the day but not for families/kids. Employees walk around in gstrings on sidewalk, tourists are drunk carrying their grenade glasses. At dusk: half naked spray painted ladies display themself inthe middle of the st, hustlers are trying to stop you to get your $. Don't go early morning until the vomit smell is gone that they rinse away after the bars close everyday.

Go once for the sake of saying you saw it. Not a nice place. The only natives there are hustlers out to take uninformed tourists. Bars, strip clubs, no significant restaurants. You will see something that will shock you garaunteed. Never been one time when I didn't. Yes I have been more than once so this is not a one time review. If you get drunk on Bourbon you run the risk of something bad happening. The best thing that could happen would be arrest. Be cautious and use common sense.
