Another top offering is the Ghost Tour, which has been so intensely researched that the hotel with the most reported Ghost sightings in the city has invited Gray Line to produce an exhibit in their hotel. Among our professionally escorted tours are the Super City Tour, Katrina Tours, Swamp & Bayou, Airboat Swamp Tours, Oak Alley & Laura Plantation Tours, Cemetery & Voodoo, French Quarter & Garden District Walking Tours We limit the number of guests on our walking tours to enhance the experience and the view is always better from our luxurious mini-busses and motor coaches. “Laura Plantation Tour”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

Laura Plantation is a delightful creole plantation to visit, where the Laura society put on a great tour around the complex. My advice however take another tour company out to the site and if possible fit two plantations in, as it was a long way out there for one plantation. Also take your own food as there are only chips, chocolate and nuts available. Our grayline tour guide "Jill" was informative but didn't seem to know how many people were on the trip and subsequently we wasted 30 minutes backtracking to pick up missed passengers. Passengers by the way who were told they had 2 hours to look around rather thn a set departure time so subsequently we drove off without them.

Thank AusDee

“Ghosts and Spirits Tour and Cocktail Walking Tour”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

I wasn't sure what to expect, but these tours sounded fun so we decided to buy tickets. We weren't disappointed.
First, the Ghosts and Spirits Tour. It left in the evening, which was fun because it makes the tour seem a bit spookier. Our guide was Etienne, and he calls himself an "empath." I don't know anything about that, but I do know he's a great story-teller and loves his city. He was very knowledgeable about all the scary tales around the city, and he made it a great experience and we had a blast.

A couple of days later we went on the Original Cocktail Walking Tour. Again, we weren't sure what to expect. We didn't know if this would be a rowdy tour of drunks where we go places we could just go on our own...which was our fear. All I will say is that if you take this tour, go on a Sunday when Joe is giving the tour. He took us all over the city and explained all of the history behind the bars and restaurants and the drinks that are their claims to fame. He doesn't push anyone to drink, but he does tell you what drinks are most popular there. He was wonderful, and we had an amazing time. We recommend the Gray Line for any tour that sounds interesting to you. I don't think you can go wrong.

“mansion tour”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

It was a nice day. However, we had a driver who had such a heavy accent it was hard to understand him. Long ride to Oak Alley. We only had an hour there and then it was time to go back. I don't understand why they leave at a time that coincides with returning to the city at rush hour. This was not bad but not great. just average.

“Old Cocktail Tour - Awesome”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

Brian was our tour guide - very knowledgable about cocktails, as well as the history of New Orleans.. It was the best part of the weekend in New Orleans, away from Bourbon Street to these tiny bars with excellent mixologists and ridiculous cocktails. Highly recommended!

“Cemetery and Ghost Tours were great!”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

My girlfriend and I recently took a week long trip to New Orleans during which we took both the cemetery tour and the ghost tour. We were so impressed with Lori's knowledge on the cemetery tour that we called directly after and booked the ghost tour for the same night. Lori was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. She gave us a very detailed tour of the cemetery and kept the historical information coming throughout. She's protective of the tour group and would insist on the casual cemetery visitor to continue passing by so that we could get our money's worth of information. Keep up the great work Lori!

We were hoping to get on Lori's ghost tour however by the time we arrived hers had filled already. Might be worth noting that the meeting point is inside the Jackson Mall building which was a bit confusing. Either way, we were still able to take the ghost tour with Michael B. which turned out to be a very informative tour as well. This tour isn't solely focused on telling ghost stories but more about giving historical context to the stories that have been told. It's not a cheesy tour and was a great experience.

I recommend anyone visiting New Orleans to take the gray line tours!
