We stayed one really stormy night in March on business at the International House Hotel in New Orleans. The weather was so bad, we didn't want to walk outside and so we decided to have dinner at Rambla, the little restaurant next door to the hotel. What a surprise! The atmosphere was very comfortable, the service was excellent, the wine list was amazing and the food selection was overwhelming and DELICIOUS!

We asked the manager to set up the menu for us, as much as he could for only two people. What we had was just wonderful. Small plates that were really large plates, at very affordable prices.

We had dinner at Rambla while staying at the International House Hotel next door, and we enjoyed the "small plate" offerings, similar to Spanish tapas. The food was tasty, but the restaurant was not very cozy with high tables and very few customers.

Surprised this restaurant wasn't packed. We really like the decor. The food selection is limited, but everything we ordered over several trips was well prepared and yummy. The flat breads were a huge hit with the team.

Every time I eat here the food and the service is outstanding but yet the restaurant is empty. Best hamburger EVER.(coming from a Texan that says a lot) The bone marrow was out of site and the flat breads are delicious! I have had almost everything on this menu and love everything. Oh, the beef tartar too! Try it out and have drinks in the Hotel lobby bar. Killer scene! :) Im a liocal and i'll keep going back.
