One of the gems of the city, there is tons to do here and one could spend all day exploring. The grounds are kept beautifully, the zoo is amazing and you can even find the oldest oak tree in the city here right outside the zoo's giraffe pen. Dont miss it.

Great place to go for a long walk after eating at The Commanders Palace.. The Spanish Moss trees are spectacular and its right next to the Zoo!

Beautiful, lots of space for golfers and others alike. Some of the golfers are very rude, but most are quite friendly and helpful. Lot's of beautiful people.

I loved walking through this park! Very serene and ducks and water features. The locals use it frequently for biking and walking but there is a large path so that everyone can enjoy and you won't feel like you're about to be run over.

On the St. Charles street trolley line, it is a pleasant destination for a walk. There is a very elongated pond with a walking path alongside. There are ibis, ducks, geese, herons.. to watch during a leisurely stroll. Good place to get out and stretch your legs.
