We first arrived late in the evening at Hampton Inn & Suites on a Sunday before a cruise to find the hotel overbooked. The hotel staff responded quickly and we took a taxi to the Hampton in the Garden District. There was only 1 room available there and this was a bit cramped but at least we had a bed. The hotel, to its credit, refunded the nights accommodation and covered the taxi fare each way. We were then able to leave our luggage while on a cruise and were very impressed by the suite upon our return. We stayed for 6 nights this time and our impression of NOLA was positively impacted by the incredible warehouse setting suites with high ceilings, ample space and, of course, southern hospitality. The included breakfast and 24 hour availability of hot drinks is something that should be standard everywhere - well done Hamptons. We could find nothing to be unhappy about this hotel and the wonderful staff.
Thanks Hampton Convention Centre!

One of the finest rooms and hotels that we have stayed in our travel to over 30 countries. The location is near the Convention Centre, Riverwalk, and within 5 minutes of the French Quarter. Rooms were very spacious, clean and quiet and hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

On my recent stay, I truly loved the southern elegance of the hotel. My room had the high ceiling with original bricks. The bed was old style with the foot stool to be able to climb in. Absolutely beautiful. It had many restaurants within walking distance.

I stayed at this hotel recently whole attending the NCTM conference at the Convention Center. We were in the old building of the hotel, which is a converted warehouse. The room was awesome! It had really high ceilings, and the king-sized bed was a four-poster bed with a step-stool to get into bed. The bed was super comfy. Our room was right across from the elevator, so we did hear the dinging of the elevator when it arrived and when people pressed buttons inside, but it wasn't too annoying. The breakfast was included and quite yummy. Compared to what I expected when I booked a room at this Hampton Inn, I was very pleasantly surprised.

Room Tip: Rooms in the old building have high ceilings and are very distinctive. (At least my room was).

The bathroom was not clean properly since there was a used Q-tip in the corner of the bathroom floor and strands of hair was also found on the floor of the bathroom. The hotel staff was pleasant. The parking was horrible. The cost of parking was OUTRAGEOUS!! I felt I was being taken advantage of because of the location and not having adequate parking except in the hotel
