This was our second stay at this wonderful and beautiful hotel, and it was as great or better the second time around. You can't beat the service, the ambience, or the accomodations. You feel as if you are staying in an elegant old mansion in Europe. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Every area of the hotel is lush and comfortable. There is a spa, a restaurant, and a lounge w/live music on the weekends. We also were fortunate to be staying in the "club" level part of the hotel, so we had access to the food and drinks available practically all day, plus the concierge service that was so friendly and helpful.
The hotel is right next to the French Quarter and easy walking to Bourbon Street or to Cafe Dumonde. But, it is also a very quiet hotel. I don't know if I could afford to stay here had we not been with a group here for a conference, but I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are coming to New Orleans.More
