I ordered the bourbon st. Combo for lunch and got a portion of shrimp and crab that was big and tasty. You can spend more $$$ and get small portions at the high end seafood/Brennan restaurants or come here and leave full

I went to this place about 10 years ago...and had a great bloody mary with the pickled green beans....they still have them today, and they are just as good. My guard is sometimes up on restaurants that have the perfect tourist location. The Crazy Lobster dispelled all my fears and was as far from a touristy experience as you get. Gabrielle, our waitress actually thought we were locals and was one of the best servers I've ever had. They are very attentive and give great detail to the dining experience, versus order takers. The location is spectacular sitting on the mighty Mississippi opposite the entrance to the Riverwalk Shops. Watching the river activity, feeling the cool breeze (even in August) and eating spectacular local seafood is heaven on earth.

The charbroiled oysters were pretty tasty....and they char the dipping bread too. Perhaps a little more butter drizzle would have been nice but they were tasty and fresh nonetheless. The two pounds of snow crab were steamed to perfection...and there was no fighting to get at the sweet meat inside. We also ordered the trio. Gumbo, jambalaya and red beans and rice. When in New Orleans....all were great. I would visit this place that has a great location, view, great service and great food. It's the trifecta of a seafood dining experience. Thanks for making our last night so memorable.

Casual -"drop-in" restaurant.

We had the Bourbon Street Combo (steamed crab and shrimp) and cold beer. Food was good. Service was OK. Live music and outside dining made this appealing for a casual dinner.

Overall, it is an average place for very casual dining.
