Went to celebrate the wifes birthday along with another couple ordered the wine basket and emailed our arrival time
What I received for 60.00 was we were handed a bottle of wine in the kitchen with a srewcap no chocolates and not told of the flowers hidden in the window. Very nice place to see once but will try other b&b's in the area next time

We know it is fun to write little zingers in Trip Advisor Reviews but felt this one deserved a response. The wine was a good sauvignon blanc and it was chilling in the refrigerator when the guests arrived. We handed it to them along with extra wine glasses so they could enjoy the wine in the courtyard with their friends as soon as they were checked in their room. We have double checked our records and found no request for chocolates or we would have provided the locally made sweets from a chocolatier up the road as we always do. The couple traveled with friends and we helped them select restaurants and bars and day trips to the Northshore and thought they were having a wonderful time as our guests. We respect some guests may not like our food, or want us to interact more with them or less with them or wish we were closer to the French Quarter or serev3e afternoon sherry - but we take our wines and flowers seriously felt the need to set the record straight.

Seven of us stayed at Sully Mansion for 4 nights and we occupied most of the rooms. Location is great and convenient to restaurants and the Street Cars. Rooms that had been renovated were lovely but some rooms had antiquated bathroom. Breakfast was good the first morning then went downhill after that. Guy and Nancy were helpful but not very friendly. We all thought they were very standoffish. They seemed put upon when asked for anything. One evening about 5pm. we needed assistance and they had closed their door and did not answer when we knocked.after we returned from dinner they were still not available. We should have been told this beforehand. We have all traveled extensively and have stayed in many B&B's. We would not return to this one nor would we recommend it to family or friends.

We went to visit our daughter, a first year student at Tulane University whom was terribly homesick and needed a little TLC. Our flight arrived late, 12am from SFO and so our daughter checked in to Sully Mansion earlier in the day. She was greeted, cared for and set up in a lovely, elegant room by Nancy & Guy. Our family of four stayed in the very comfortable, clean & elegant Bourban Suite. Our goal was to spend quality time with our daughter and show our 16 year old son around Tulane and New Orleans. We took every tip and suggestion Nancy and Guy gave us. Walked around the garden district, the warehouse district (art), & Royal street in the French quarter.
We started our day with an incredible breakfast of poached eggs & bacon served on a puff pastry with creole sauce, fruit, yogurt parfait, coffee & juice. Then they gave us lunch, dinner and music venue recommendations which were all fantastic! We stayed two wonderful nights and I even bought a piece of art off of their living room wall.
I will plan every trip to NOLA around Sully Mansion availability! We loved the mansion mascot, "Gracie" too. Thank you for your incredible hospitality Nancy & Guy!

We stayed at Sully Mansion in the middle of spring. Our friends from Texas had found this place on the internet and booked it for the four of us. We were simply overwhelmed by Nancy's and Guy's hospitality. In order not to repeat the words of praise in the reviews to be read here, I will only mention the service Guy did to us when he carried our two oversize and overweight suitcases, which had got lost and were brought to Sully Mansion very early in the morning of our third day there, two floors up and placed them just in front of our room. Imagine our relief with which we enjoyed our morning coffee. Moreover, he provided me with an adapter to get my electrical razor and my smartphone work again (they have German plugs). In the end he gave it to me as a present on which I still lavish care and attention. - Two wonderful persons in a wonderful place.

My daughter and I recently stayed three nights at the Sully Mansion B&B and enjoyed our experience very much. I did not read any reviews before we went so I had no preconceived ideas. Our room was lovely, though a chair with a reading light would have been a nice addition. Nancy was helpful in recommending a nearby restaurant, Coquette, and called to make a reservation for us (and the food there is fantastic). Nancy was also very helpful to check us in for our flight home and obtain boarding passes while we were out and about. Nancy and Guy keep an appropriate professional distance, which I had no problem with. If I could change anything (and this comment comes from many years in insurance liability claim management) it would be to have the stairs better lit after dark. The location is perfect, and the neighborhood is quiet, as was the B&B on the weekend we were there. Gracie was a welcome canine greeter.

I could not have chosen a better place to stay. Our family basically rented out Nancy & Gui's entire home for four nights, and what a home it is. Every room is a work of art, -elegant, tasteful and yet playful southern decor. Waking up every morning to coffee and tea at our doorstep, then meeting the rest of our family in the grand dining room where Nancy and Gui prepared absolutely delicious artisan breakfasts. Each morning some something new and satiating; a perfect complement to a night on the town and preparation for the adventure ahead. Their presence and demeanor commands respect as they catered to whatever took to make everyone comfortable.

Thank you both for accommodating our family and helping to make this the most memorable family getaway we have had. :) Much love xoxo. and hit us up on the mouch tour!!

We stayed at Sully Mansion to move our daughter into Tulane University. Guy greeted us on our arrival (and the flight was late!) and escorted us to our beautiful rooms. The home is gorgeous and full of art but not pretentious. The breakfasts were delicious and the weekday continental breakfasts were complete with hot dishes, and an assortment of fruits, cereals, breads and even yogurt parfaits. It was an extra bonus to eat with other Tulane parents and students every morning during this eventful weekend. Guy and Nancy were very helpful with New Orleans and Tulane advice. The location is very convenient to the college and Magazine Street as well as a block away from the street car on St. Charles that can take you to the French Quarter. We hope to make Sully Mansion our home away from home on future trips to New Orleans!
