The Sully Mansion is a beautiful well cared for home in heart of the quiet Garden District.
The lovely Nancy is a thoughtful and attentive host. She spent time helping us orient in the city and had wonderful information on where to dine and even play tennis. Breakfast was huge and delicious and we dined on a newly landscaped patio with waterfalls and their sweet dog , Gracie.
What a haven in middle of a hectic city. We are sure to return.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We rarely get to share our knowledge of the tennis options in the city! It is always fun to talk about elements of the city that you get to know as a local, one of the advantages of staying at at a B&B. We shared so many things in common, cannot wait for their next return trip.

This was my first trip to New Orleans and I was glad I stayed at Sully Mansion.. Went for the AARP concert, stayed 4 nights and it was really nice to go into the city for the day/night activities and go back to Sully's at night where is was nice and quiet. Great location to everything and easy to get around on the public transportation-buy a $3.00 pass for the day and go on everything including the street cars. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained-they think of everything. Never heard a sole outside of my room. I cannot say enough about the hospitaility you recieve from Nancy and Guy. We had to leave early Tuesday before breakfast and they even packed a bag to go with juice, muffin and fruit. Do yourself a favor and check out Sully Mansion.

Room Tip: ALL rooms have something for everyone.

We loved having the two of Massachusetts friends stay with us and give us an opportunity to introduce them to our city. It makes us happy making guests happy.

My husband and daughter stayed a
at the Sully Mansion one night on a quick trip to tour Tulane. They both sent me emails thanking me for sending them to such a lovely place. My husband wants to take me back there for a weekend. Huge room, great location, lovely owners.

I stayed at The Sully Mansion Bed and Breakfast for a quick weekend visit to New Orleans. It was a beautiful B & B in a perfect location. Close to everything! Nancy and Guy were very helpful in giving us suggestions, as well as looking things up for us. The breakfasts were delicious. The B & B was full when we stayed, but very quite. It was the most restful and relaxing trip to NOLA yet! I can't wait to be a regular here.

Room Tip: The Burbon Room was beautiful, and the bed was AWESOME!

We loved staying at Sully Mansion while in New Orleans. It's in a fabulous location and Guy and Nancy made us feel right at home. I recommend you seek them out for "insider" tips on where to eat and things to do.....they were spot on every time.
Special kudos to Gracie, their rescue dog......friendly and well behaved, a home just isn't a real home without a dog.
We'll defintely be back next tike we're in the Big Easy.

We stayed here shortly after Hurricane Isaac, for my 41st birthday trip. My first choice room (Bourbon room) was already booked, so we decided to go with the St. Charles suite, and it proved to be a great choice. It is located right inside the front door, away from the other guest rooms, so it was both convenient and quiet. The room itself was spacious and beautiful, with high ceilings and a gorgeous chandelier, and a window that opens as a doorway to the porch. The bed was very comfortable, especially for those who prefer a mattress on the firm side. Guy and Nancy were very helpful and knowledgeable, and even made tour reservations for us when the tour company we were trying to work with couldn't get a minimum. Of course, we loved having Gracie around! We liked the inn's quiet location a short distance away from the French Quarter. The streetcar in that area was temporarily out of service, but it was not too bad of a walk, and cabs were always close by at the Commander's Palace when we needed one. It was easy enough to get to the French Quarter, and then come back and relax in peace. Also, there are plenty of places to explore on Magazine St., and Lafayette Cemetery is nearby. We will definitely be back!

Put this on your list of places to stay in New Orleans! Guy, Nancy (and Gracie, the dog) were wonderful hosts and we will certainly make this our "go-to" place from now on. We took our son down to Tulane University to begin school having no idea what the Sully Mansion was like and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The room was spacious and clean, the (breakfast) meals were terrific and the "grounds" were beautifully maintained. We left a day before Hurricane Issac hit and Nancy offered just enough motherly advice to ease our fears of leaving our college freshman in New Orleans :)
