Chuck welcomed us but that was the last time we saw him. No housekeeping, no clean towels, a rundown and rather dirty room. The location was convenient but that also made it noisy at night. The room was poorly maintained. Door knobs coming off, toilet seat coming off, ac/heater set off smoke alarm.

Let me 1st start by saying!! Disregard any of the Negative Review's if there are any. This Property sits right on Bourbon St 800 Block. It's a block down from the famous Lafittes Blacksmith shop Bar. The slave Quarters are nothing fancy, it's a place where you come to after you have been out on the town all night Partying a little bit, and need a place to lay your head down. don't Expect the Hotel Moteleone or the Royal Sonesta. The Place was well kept, Neat, clean. When you walk off of Bourbon St you pass through a gate and you wont even hear the People. You can relax in the Courtyard which we did a few times, if you have the Slave Quarter on the 1st floor or the Other one across the courtyard you can open your doors and just take it all in!! Chuck was an excellent Host.

Only 1 thing I would ask Chuck (Owner) to do. Upgrade or repair the tiling in the shower on the bottom floor.

Room Tip: if you have the get the Slave Quarter on the 1st floor or the Other one across the courtyard you can...

If you're looking to stay on the 'quiet' side of bourbon street this is your place. The room was no frills, but had a a refrigerator keep the nights left overs cold, and a microwave to heat them up in the morning. The court yard was beautiful complete with singing parakeets. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. I stayed with my wife + friend and will be coming back

My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary in 'Nawlins, and our stay could not have been better! Chuck was a fantastic host, and the accomodations could not have been better! BEAUTIFUL landmark with a lot of history! The price was very affordable, and the central location in the heart of the Quarter was VERY convenient.

From the moment I contacted Chuck about the possibility of staying at the Bon Maison, I experienced first class care. Upon arrival, my companion and I were treated like long lost friends, not strangers merely paying a price for a place to sleep. The location is perfect, right in the mix on Bourbon Street, but not too deep in it - even on a Saturday before a Saints game. The courtyard was charming. The bed was comfortable. The rooms were quiet, despite being on Bourbon Street. We had everything we needed, including a good refrigerator. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, which was more than we needed but what was available - not a bad problem to have, especially at such a reasonable rate. I am looking forward to returning, this time to a room with a balcony! Thank you, Chuck!

Bon Maison is in Bourbon St but at the quieter end and the location is superb. Walk a couple of blocks and your right in the heart of the action but as the rooms are back off the street there is no problems with noisy partygoers late a night. We had a two bedroom apartment that opened on to a quiet courtyard which was a great place to relax before going out for another night on the town. The owner, Chuck, could not be more helpful and recommended various restaurants , attractions and local quisine. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had a microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Quite reasonably priced too..

Wonderful location right on Bourbon street close to partying, Jackson Square, shops, etc. Wonderful value and quiet courtyard makes it easy to "turn off" after a long night. Highly recommended!
