Description: This beautiful two-story building was erected in 1809 by Antoine Angué where he opened the Vieux Carré’s first Creole Bistro called, The Restaurant d’Orleans. Today, the property is owned by the noted local business team of Pam Fortner and Earl Bernhardt. Lovingly renovated with its prestigious past in mind, The Orleans Grapevine continues the tradition by offering discriminating diners the best in fine dining and an extensive wine list in a beautiful, intimate yet relaxed atmosphere. We feature many unique and seasonal special dishes & specials.

Located right across the street from the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, this small restaurant is spectacular. The food is first rate and the wait staff is exceptional!

We visited right after the place opened at 4:00 PM, there was no one in the place and we had to coaxed them into sitting at a large enough table for the 5 of us instead of at the bar. Not a good first impression. The staff seemed more interested in getting the place ready for the night rush than waiting on us.

Thank you for coming in and we apologize for the misunderstanding. Our bar opens at 4 for happy hour drinks and cheese plates. Until 5 we only have bar service wether it be at the bar or at a table. Our servers do use this hour to prepare for food service at 5.

I'm a localQuarter Rat - but fine dinning is something even us rats have opinions about and this is fine dinning in a intimate atmosphere. For the last few years I have given credit to Gerald "Mr.Hawk Eyes", that seems to B in all places at once - Tonight Sunshine was running the show and it was magnivicant as always - new Waitress Sarah. from Pittsburg? - Yep!! But charmingly Southern. Though my guests from out of town, fought my decision over their "list" of places they had chosen for late dinner - I insisted and promised they would never again visit, withoutir this on the top of the list - They were not disappointed! When owners go on needed R&R and leave 2nd string in charge - could B disaster - even chef was not my regular. BUT FOLKS- it was devine - mayb even above just the Fantastic Ordinary day to day Excellence - and that says it all! The high standards instilled were so on point - DEVINE Fine dinning! We tipped Good! It was 5 Star and bill did not break the bank. hate to let all U' not local' know our secrets - but This Is One Place that needs to B at the top of your What To Do - Where To Eat - in New Orleans - and then walk a few steps to Tropical Isle for the best all round Music we have - just a taste of Debbie and the Deacon - to get U in the mood for fun -

Randomly stumbled upon Grapevine last night and had a wonderful experience, the server Ron was knowledgeable and took pride in taking care of the diners. Sit out side if possible as the environment is exactly what you are looking for in French Quarter dining. I strongly recommend the Filet, I truly could not be more satisfied with the experience. Well done! Ill be back next time I visit.
