Upscale food quality. Perfect courtyard. Five of us had dinner and all meals were over the top. The service was exceptional. Loved the filet. Desserts were yum.

“Excellent. Upscale and kind of pricey but not at all stuffy.”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

This place is a gem.
The food was excellent almost without exception. The exception being the 14oz steak, which though cooked and seasoned perfectly was a little on the chewy side. Perfectly respectable, just not up to the standards set by the rest of the plates we had that night.
Honey vanilla butter and fantastic bread to start, a great selection of wines by the glass, staff knowledgeable not only about the food and wine, but able to give recommendations about other places in the area, and what to avoid. Whole heartedly recommend this place. The best meal we had while in NO

“Staff was so friendly”

We stopped in here before going out to dinner. We had appetizers and a bottle of wine to share. Our bartender/waitress (her name was Sunshine), was absolutely sweet and helpful. Highly recommend if you are wine lover!

“Love this place”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

We arrived in NO late Friday, Oct 4, from DC area) with no dinner reservations. We sat at the bar & ordered the gumbo, which was outstanding! In our many visits to NO, Tujague's has always been my favorite for gumbo, but Grapevine rivals it. The bartenders, Sunshine & Germaine/Jemaine (sp) were wonderful. Very friendly, gave great suggestions on what to order etc. Met a waiter, Edward, as were leaving & he also was charming & recommended NO activities for us. We went back the next night, sat at the bar, ordered the Saffron Mussels - WOW!
Maybe the best mussels I have ever eaten. We had the same delightful bartenders. The next time we visit NO, this will be our first stop.

“Very cozy friendly restaurant”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

This restaurant is amazing. We went based on rating result on TripAdvisor. We wanted a nice place to celebrate a birthday. We were not disappointed. The courtyard is so romantic and cozy. It was our first time in New Orleans and need a little help deciding from the menu and the waiter was very helpful. The food was absolutely wonderful. The waiter even brought us wine samples to try before we made our selection. The food was perfect and so was the wine. We would strongly recommend.
