The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The courtyard was a relaxing, quiet spot for conversation. Not overly priced either. We went twice in our two-day stay!

“A fantastic wine bar and more!”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We went here several times during our stay in NOLA. We were very happy with both the wine and the food. The ambiance of the restaurant is just how I think of New Orleans, i.e., both decadent and refined at the same time. There is a beautiful small courtyard in the back were you might want a full meal and a bar in front. The building is old with a lot of exposed brick and the original columns. We sat at the bar at all of our visits. It sits only a few steps off bourbon, but is in a different world entirely; quiet, cool, and inviting. It became a late night haven for us.

We had several dishes including, mussels, filet, scallops, and a fantastic bread pudding. The wines were off beat and excellent values. The food was some of the best we had in NOLA. I see us going there again the next time we visit. There is also a great goat cheese cheesecake.

“best mussels I've ever eaten!”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

We stumbled accross this place by accident - we were trying to ecape the awful street that is Bourbon.... we found this oasis off Bourbon, and we were shown to a table in the courtyard, it was perfect! I ate Mussels in a tomato saffron sauce, hands down the best meal I had on my entire trip, and possibly the best mussels I've ever eaten! We returned two nights later to eat again, we liked it that much. Shout out to Bennet for giving us invaluble advice on where to go for drinks on Frenchman, we ended up returning there each night for the rest of our trip! Also to the waitress who looked after us on our second night, I can't recall our name but you were really nice :-) don't miss this place for the food and the happy hour on wine! $5 a glass!

.$58 bottle of wine and (2) $15 each very mediocre appetizers and almost no service!!!! Until we were tired of watching a mouse run around the dining room then listen to the manager and 2 waiters make excuses!!! Don't do it!!!! Too many great restaurants in NOLA!!!

“FIRST CLASS FOOD AND SERVICE”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

My husband and I wanted to have a celebratory dinner and decided on this restaurant in the French Quarter. Wow, was this ever a good choice. The ambiance of the patio, coupled with a fabulous dinner and topped off by one of the best waitresses we have ever come across, made this evening a success. Kate made sure we had everything we needed and took the time to give to give us some excellent suggestions for the remainder of the evening. We look forward to visiting New Orleans in the future, and this restaurant will be included in our plans. Thanks!!!!
