Jill was a fantastic host, very knowledgeable and who provided great information on everything from where to eat (DAT DOG was a particular favorite) to what to see, what bands to hear and what areas to avoid. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and spotless, and the garden was a lush retreat. Breakfasts were delicious and the communal dining provided a great opportunity to meet other visitors. The location was only a few minutes walk from both the St Charles streetcar and the Magazine Street bus, which got us into the french quarter in 20 to 25 minutes. The neighborhood was safe and pleasant to explore, and we would definitely stay here again and recommend the Chimes to anyone visiting New Orleans. 10/10!
